This flashing is running up and over the counter flashing and fascia instead of under the counter flashing. It also does not extend far enough to the left under the valley, or far enough to the right under the counter flashing. In addition the painted  flashing to the right of the silver flashing is lapped in the wrong direction letting water run behind it as the water runs downhill along the fascia.
